What You Need To Know At Your Initial Visit
Please arrive 15 minutes early for your first appointment.
If you are seeing Dr. Mike you will enter through Suite 365. You will enter through a foyer and a private waiting room will be on your left hand side. You may ring the black door chime in the foyer, if you wish, but you don’t need to. When you enter the waiting room a sensor will tell us you have arrived. Please close the door behind you (for your privacy and that of others before and after you) and take a seat. By the time you arrive, you should already have completed the questionnaire provided to you by the office secretaries, in advance. If you have not already done so, the office secretaries can provide you with the new patient forms to fill out. Dr. Mike will come get you at your appointment time. If for any reason you need to cancel please let us know at least 24 hours in advance so that we may make that time available to someone else.
If you are seeing one of our other professionals you will enter through Suite 370. You will enter directly into a shared waiting room. You may ring the black door chime near the door, if you wish, but you don’t need to. We will know you have arrived and your doctor will come to get you at your appointment time. If for any reason you need to cancel please let us know at least 24 hours in advance so that we may make that time available to someone else.
What You Can Expect
Comfortable Space: Dr. Mike carefully designed Proliance Center to help patients feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible. In Dr. Mike’s Office (Suite 365) the adult counseling room has the ambience of an inviting living room, while the evaluation area for young patients is reminiscent of a child’s playroom, complete with a computer game station and home-style desk area. In the General Office (Suite 370) all the adult counseling and treatment rooms have the ambience of an inviting living room. Likewise our child evaluation and treatment areas are reminiscent of a child’s playroom, complete with games, toys and many fun things to play with.
Flexibility and Availability: No problem is too small, or too big. While appointments are typically scheduled during normal business hours, Dr. Mike and our other professionals are available for emergency situations that may arise with our existing clients. Our availability, treatment philosophy and personal service all help build rapport and the bond of trust that Dr. Mike and all of us at Proliance share with our clients.
Language Options: While all of our therapists are fully and clearly fluent in English, some like Dr. Mike are also fluent Spanish. This allows us to expand the options for patients who may be more comfortable discussing sensitive matters in either language.
Our Payment Policy
Proliance Center is a Fee-for-Service medical group dedicated to providing very high quality and effective medical, psychiatric and therapeutic treatment to our clients. Dr. Mike and all of us at Proliance Center treat our clients according to our own professional opinion, which is based upon our personal interaction with each client. By operating on a Fee-for-Service basis, we are able to eliminate outside influences that may affect treatment directives or medication prescriptions. Additionally, this policy also enables Dr. Mike to spend more time with his clients than many insurance companies allow. Payment can be made directly to the doctor at the time of service, or the secretarial staff at check out. Please note that we are considered a Non-Preferred Provider, for insurance companies and we do not accept referrals or payments directly from insurance companies. Those with insurance who desire reimbursement need only submit payment receipts from our office to their insurance company.
