Dr. Mike Morejon,

M.D., DABPN, DFAPA – Child, Adolescent and Adult Psychiatry, Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you into our practice. I specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of psychiatric conditions that affect children, adolescents, young adult and adults, and I have dedicated most of my adult life to the study and practice of psychiatry and psychotherapy.  As medical school graduate and psychiatrist, I am specially trained to treat all aspects of mental illness.  These include the Biological, Psychological and Sociological.

I have been named a Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Society, and I have two Board Certifications.  I am certified in both Child & Adolescent Psychiatry and also in Adult Psychiatry.  In addition to this, I have advanced and specialized training in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy.

I strive to provide the highest standard of care and I regularly exchange ideas and observations with colleagues in order to keep in touch with new developments in the fields of psychopharmacology and psychotherapy.  This way I can be more helpful to my clients.

My care is based on the core principal that most patients who require mental health care will respond best to a combination of therapy and medication. At Proliance Center, our team places an emphasis on the integration of a psychotherapeutic approach with the careful and limited use of medication.  As such, I will prescribe only when necessary.  I look forward to working with you.  Give me a call today.
